Job description: One our our large FS clients are currently looking to bring on an IT Security Consultant to work as part of the dedicated IT Security projects team, to give Systems and Applications based IT Security advice and assurance to a number of projects sitting across their wider IT Transformation portfolio.
Due to the nature of this particular role, you should have the following to be considered:
- Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and Cloud security with focus on Azure is a must
- Technically will need to have some experience working on Azure based Cloud security projects, security configuration and best practices for core infrastructure including servers, workstations, SASE technologies, SD-WAN and Firewall infrastructure (penetration testing scoping experience would be a big plus).
- Strong breadth and understanding of security standards and protocols (ISO, etc.), as well as the Secure Application Development Life-cycle, which would involve in working with internal app development teams and 3rd party tech SMEs in order to advise on best practice for effective delivery of the project.
