As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Facilities and Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
The successful candidate can expect to:
Work as part of our Facilities and Maintenance team in a busy manufacturing facility to ensure proper operation and maintenance of our equipment, buildings and site. The person filling the role will have good technical ability and a desire to continually learn and improve. The person will have a positive attitude, will be flexible in approach and will deal with people at all levels within and outside the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and building services equipment.
- Fault finding diagnostics and completion of equipment repairs
- Support the completion of facilities maintenance tasks and updating of our Helpdesk system.
- Undertake all work in line with Collins Environmental, Health and Safety procedures, relevant legislation and best practice.
- Work closely with OEM equipment specialists and general contractors.
- Support the F&M coordinator in sourcing and maintaining stock of equipment spare parts.

What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
- A relevant trade or 3rd level qualification
- Experience of maintaining industrial and building services equipment.
- Electrical bias but with good mechanical skills and ability
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings.
- Strong computer skills in the Microsoft suite of programs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with CNC and automated machinery
- Experience with DC machine control systems
