Job description: Opportunity to join an established chilled food manufacturer taking products from concept through to trials, pre-production, and launch.
As Process Technologist reporting into the Process and Innovation Manager for a food manufacturing business you’ll manage product launches.
My client has a proud history of developing food for their customers and consumers which is enjoyed in millions of homes every year. They’re portfolio includes a fabulous range of products and well-known famous brands which are available in all of the country’s supermarkets.
This role will suit a Process, Technical, Operations or Engineering professional who has chilled food manufacturing experience. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in the Process function where you’ll work with a great team, great products and in a great environment.
Day to day you’ll be supporting the team to deliver projects ready for launch. You’ll be involved in all aspects of process from ordering materials and packaging to arranging and attending factory trials and pre-production runs. Your attention to detail and organising skills are key here to ensuring that all data is successfully collated and reported. You’ll then be arranging shelf-life analysis, nutritional and microbiological testing and completing artwork checks on the finished products.
To qualify for consideration, you’ll need a minimum of 12-months working experience in chilled food manufacturing with a good working knowledge of concept to launch protocols and Food Manufacturing practices. You’ll have sound project management skills, good IT skills a full drivers license with the flexibility to travel occasionally for product trials and launches.
