We are seeking B1.3 / B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join our Engineering Teams in Aberdeen. Reporting to the Chief Engineer and under the day-to-day supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the position holder will be required to perform base and line maintenance on various Company aircraft types. We will also consider applications from Unlicensed Engineers.
B1.3 / B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers:
The Key Responsibilities include:
Perform /certify / a/c maintenance – Scheduled Maintenance Inspections, MODS and rectification.
Maintaining acceptable airworthiness and maintenance standards.
Issue such certifications within the scope of authorisation.
Reporting on incidents or lapse in quality involving a/c staff, material, plant, tools, equipment, premises, or facilities.
Person Specification: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)
Qualifications:
CAA B1.3 or B2 License.
Experience:
Relevant experience and time on helicopters – time on the S92 is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent adaptable team worker, with good work and safety ethics.
Attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work within small team.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Numerical skills.
Motivated to provide a high standard of work.
Ability to consider the effects of their actions to both the Department and the Company as a whole.
Demonstrate integrity in all aspects.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
Unlicensed Engineers:
Knowledge of working in a rotary / aviation background would be preferable but not essential.
Overall, Purpose of Role:
To carry out maintenance tasks under supervision in support of the operational flying requirement. Tasks may include scheduled & unscheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification and component changes.
Principal Responsibilities:
Supporting with any support duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.
Help maintain / improve Company Standards whilst ensuring compliance with both Company and regulatory procedures and practices.
Training:
A demonstrable interest and intent to pursue continued professional development, obtaining a PART 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
The successful candidate must:
Have a proven track record of performing aircraft maintenance operations in a safe, efficient, and effective manner under supervision.
Be an excellent adaptable team worker, with good work and safety ethics.
Have good interpersonal skills with ability to work within small team.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
