Job Purpose:

This role provides vital support to the Brand & Community Manager, assisting in the planning and implementation of all our organic social media planning, processing expenditure, liaising with all our influencers, responding to and fulfilling media, influencers requests and performing administrative duties.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • React to and arrange any media, talent call-ins for samples and images, ensuring no opportunities are missed.
  • Responsible for all campaigns budget tracking, including invoicing.
  • Monitor the marketing projects, constantly updating the weekly marketing content plan with any changes that occur.
  • Responsible for all media and talent gifting on a monthly basis and to update sample tracker
  • Research and gather information for the marketing team, such as product information or sales data.
  • Coordinate marketing projects and activities
  • Prepare regular marketing reports by collecting and analysing sales data.
  • Conduct background research on competitors and markets
  • Represent the company at external events and publicity opportunities.
  • Working closely with the CRM team to help update and write content for websites, social media channels, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Assist with the management of the marketing budget, for example, through processing invoices.
  • Working on our ‘Student Brand Ambassador’ Project, liaising with student influencers and collating incentive boxes
  • Research and produce creative proposals for upcoming marketing projects.
  • Carry out competitive shops and compile monthly competitor reports, sharing insight with the Marketing team.
  • Various administrative duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Communication skills: Excellent command of written and verbal English. Strong communication, organisation & follow up skills are essential, confidence in spoken English also needs to be high as you will often be the first point of contact that any external stakeholders have with the marketing department, as well as having to present ideas to others.
  • Multi-tasking: The ability to multitask and meet different deadlines with minimal supervision is paramount. Must have an excellent eye for detail and typography
  • IT skills: Proficiency in IT applications such MS Office (Google Doc, PowerPoint, Excel, basic Photoshop)
  • Administrative skills: Day-to-day tasks including arranging meetings and gathering information, tracking invoices, planning campaign shoot, organising the marketing sample room and tracking packages.
