MAINTROL Senior Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FUNCTION:
- Report directly to the Head of Technical Operations
- Manage the Wizz Air UK’s MAINTROL Team, directly responsible for the day-to-day aircraft activities (24/7).
- Support the Head of Technical Operations with developing company policies and procedures
- Ensure that all work performed by contracted AMO organisations comply with WUK’s CAME and Procedures
- Support the Wizz Air UK Engineering team in reliability programme and review boards preparation by supplying requested data
- Manage the Ad-hoc / On-Call aircraft maintenance agreements and available options for outstations / airports that Wizz Air UK operates to.
- Analyse the effectiveness of the maintenance activities, e.g. aircraft availability, utilisation of spares, defects, malfunctions and damage, and proposing amendments to procedures and practices.
- Assure all loaned parts are properly managed and returned to the supplier on time
- Co-ordinate with Wizz Air UK Flight Operations (Technical Pilots) on technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective action plans related to Safety reports and audit findings, to support the Safety & Compliance Team and Head of Technical Operations.
- Monitor and manage the aircraft technical delays and on-time performance. Take actions to improve the TDR/OTP.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Aircraft/Aeronautical engineering university degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in aviation CAMO or AMO industry
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aviation engineering or maintenance and planning with Airbus A320FAM , including A320FAM Type Rating Training course
- Extensive knowledge and experience of AMOS applications
- Good oral and written presentations skills
- Team work and strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent spoken / written English
- Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
- Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office
