As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing projects, utilizing your expertise to create captivating and functional spaces that exceed client expectations. Your exceptional design skills, project management abilities, and industry knowledge will be essential in delivering outstanding results.

Job description:

  • Lead the design process from concept development to project completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, understanding their vision, and translating it into innovative and practical design solutions.
  • Conduct thorough site analysis, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layout.
  • Develop and present design proposals, including 2D and 3D visualizations, mood boards, and sample boards.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and tender packages.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the internal team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project coordination.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies, incorporating them into design solutions.

Skills necessary:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design, preferably in the leisure, hospitality, or food and beverage sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing projects, from concept to completion.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful projects, highlighting your creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using design software, Vectorworks preferable.
  • Exceptional skills in creating 2D and 3D visualizations, using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or similar tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
