Job description: We are looking for a freelance worker for three hours per week for 40 weeks of the year.
The rate will be paid at £11.55 (or the equivalent to the living wage)
The main aim of this role work will be to ensure that volunteers maintain registers, group activities, finance and publicity for the group. There will be some training available to help you with this. You will also have to do a DBS and some safeguarding training.
You can use the Heeley Green Community Centre office with the Heeley Trust Team if you want to work any hours between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. You can also use Heeley Trust facilities and borrow a laptop.
The worker will be required to ensure that
1. The classes – yoga, Zumba and swimming are booked and the registers and fees are collected.
2. The rooms are booked
3. The WhatsApp group is maintained.
4. Emails are sent out.
5. Publicity and social media is maintained
6. Coordinate with the group and get management committee meetings organised.
7. Accounts spreadsheet is maintained – money is banked, and invoices paid and raised.
8. Monitoring and reports are done.
9. Summer trips and parties organised
