This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team in the Division of Medical Education; working alongside the internationalization team in partnerships with Alexandria and Mansoura, Egypt; supporting ongoing staff development in Manchester and possibly delivery/liaison about staff development online or in Egypt.

They will work closely with internationalisation colleagues, including the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education Partnerships & Director of International Mobility for Education and be an active part of the SMS and FBMH Internationalisation teams.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for successful delivery of this staff development programme, including design and delivery of all PRiME workshops (Core, Advanced, Network, Foundation and International), oversight of 1MedLearn Staff Pages and all associated staff development activities, including work with our partner organisations.

Applicants should discuss this opportunity with their line manager and/or head of division ahead of application. It is expected that the successful applicant would need to consider relinquishing other duties in order to do this role. Your allocated time for this role must be agreed and documented in your job plan ahead of any formal contract of employment. 

You will be able to deputise as appropriate for the Associate Programme Director MBChB for Staff Development and flexibility, including ability to cover Thursdays would be an advantage. 

Interviews are scheduled to take place on the mornings of 16th and 22nd April 2024.
