Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Finance, a related curriculum, degree in other fields must be complemented with appropriate work experience to fulfill responsibilities of position required. Master’s Degree preferred. Experience increasing financial or accounting responsibility required. Previous PL responsibility required. Previous managerial/leadership experience required..

Position Purpose:

Provides financial leadership to site, including responsibility for development and integration of budgets, forecasts, reporting and analysis, and management of accounting functions and internal controls. Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect financial activities at the site, consistent with industry standards and corporate policies. Interprets and recommends modifications to company wide policies and procedures. Develops reporting requirements to provide financial information required. for management review and identification of risks and opportunities. Provide leadership and direction in accounting processes, in compliance with GAAP and corporate guidelines, including appropriate level of internal controls consistent with SARBOX requirements. Ensure appropriate revenue recognition and reserve levels as required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: * Ensure accurate and timely financial performance analysis and reporting. Analyze significant variances from planned or forecasted results and provide key drivers and recommendations to senior management.

• Direct annual budget process to include underlying assumptions, target setting and development of staffing and revenue/margin/expense plans to meet business targets.
• Identify appropriate levels of capital, direct and indirect staffing and non-salary costs to support both operational and financial goals.
• Establish aggressive yet realistic goals for the organization, monitor performance and redirect actions of financial and operations employees.
• Develop planning for and manage execution of financial deliverables.
• Implements continuous process improvement, both in support of operations and with financial processes.
• Directs employees responsible for oversight of multiple product lines and site support functions. Overall financial responsibility for site-wide resources.
• Develops/coordinates/prioritizes cross functional plans and practices to ensure that site Directors/VP have financial information required to successfully achieve business results.
• Leads staff in an environment where excellent performance is rewarded, and employees are encouraged to set challenging goals and high standards of performance.

Perform other duties as assigned.
