Summary of Project Manager Role A new luxury Food & Beverage, Lifestyle, Hotel and Retail concept brand is looking for a Project Manager for their in house design team. This in-house studio is based in Hammersmith and is looking for an experienced project manager that is highly organised, creative and driven. This opportunity includes working on projects that will be initially launching in the Middle East and involves working on a global expansion plan in the luxury F&B sector. This role requires someone with extensive exposure in managing luxury F&B and Hospitality projects. This opportunity would also best suit someone who is open to frequent international travel.
Project Manager Job Description
- Oversee new property projects from concept creation through design and construction to delivery.
- Manage day-to-day coordination with external project design consultants, reporting to the Global Head of Property and internal teams.
- Provide technical, design, and operational input to project design consultants, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.
- Assist the Global Head of Property in reviewing design progress and submission documents.
- Contribute to the development of technical design guidelines for company properties.
- Assist in creating new property project briefs and consultant briefs.
- Supervise tender and construction phases, keeping the Global Head of Property and internal teams informed of progress.
- Coordinate site handover processes, support final inspections, and oversee capex improvement projects for operational properties.
Skills Necessary for this Project Manager Role
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders and building networks.
- Proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Possesses robust organizational and project management skills, characterized by meticulous attention to detail.
- Exhibits excellent writing and presenting skills.
- Passionate about interior design, architecture, and holds a keen interest in F&B and hospitality.
- Brings over 5 years of experience in a similar Property Project Manager role, preferably within Hospitality/Food & Beverage Venue/Hotel businesses.
- Proficient in using 2D CAD software for drawing reviews, occasional drawing tasks, and possesses a strong understanding of standard fit-out processes and construction procedures.
- Background in architecture or interior design is advantageous, with strong experience in F&B projects and additional benefits from familiarity with office/commercial projects and understanding of M&E design
