As the Director of Food and Beverage, your role will involve overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of all Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring that each department adheres to the standards established for both the brand as a whole and Andaz in particular.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
·Representing the Food and Beverage function on the hotel’s Executive Committee
·Ensuring that all the Food and Beverage outlets operate successfully and are individually profitable in accordance with the standard of the hotel
·Ensuring brand standards have been implemented and colleagues deliver the brand promise, consistently providing exceptional levels of service to our guests
·Maximising the revenue of each division and efficiently managing costs in collaboration with the Head of Departments
·To prepare the Annual Business Plan for Food and Beverage through a structured and strategic approach, involving and guiding the Heads of Departments and other stakeholders
·Strategically analysing business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting
·Regularly evaluating local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel operations to make sure that the hotel’s own operations remain competitive and cutting edge
·Ensuring that Food & Beverage activities are aligned with the respective strategy
·Working closely with Leaders and Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
About you
You will have a relevant background in a similar role in the five-star market. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
