The finance business partner role will offer a broad exposure to analysis, revenue modelling, business partnering and process improvement, for a large, well-established brand that can offer a wide range of career paths. This role would suit someone post qualified as an accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).It is also important to mention that they pride themselves on having a highly flexible culture, a wide range of quirky and fun benefits and work from home and flexible working options available to create a good balance between work and home life.Duties:Provide strategic business partnering insights and decision-making support to the commercial functions:Forecasting :Support the forecasting process to understand sales & margin variances and support the team in modelling the future business performanceEmbody a no surprises mindset to forecastingSales & Gross Margin Reporting:Produce detailed, accurate & insightful Sales & Gross Margin reporting, providing senior leadership with commercial commentary and analytical insights to influence decision makingGross to Net trade investment:Be the guardian of margin for the business, challenge pricing & commercial decision & ensure correct control procedures are adhered toLead monthly channel reviews to ensure all risks & opportunities in the Gross to Net & Gross Profit % have been identifiedEnsure balance sheets & accruals are accurately maintained in this areaDevelop insights on Gross to Net trade investment, challenging stakeholders to optimise investment where appropriateMarketing Investment Analysis:Work with the marketing team to develop Marketing Activity Summaries, measurable ROI reporting and drive the efficient use of marketing investmentProjects:Be the finance lead or representative for relevant business projects as requiredMAIN SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:Strong technical backgroundACA, CIMA, ACCA Qualified or equivalent (likely Big 4 trained), with strong academicsSAP experience favouredAmbitious, hard working & problem solving mentalityExperience of partnering with outsourced finance functions, developing processes & driving efficiencyPositive & energetic mannerStrong influencing skills ; able to have impact, negotiate, convinceAdaptable & diplomatic approach, able to use judgement in handling situations and peopleAble to handle lots of tasks & projects with ease, with awareness of costs, resources, timeProven ability to learn fast and deliver excellent result in a fast-changing environmentBenefits:A highly competitive base salary of between £55,000 and £70,000 p/a based on the candidate’s experienceA performance related bonus of up to 20% Private medical insuranceLife assurance6% non contributory pension25 days holidayHigh level of flexible working (2 days from home)Other great benefits on application Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
