About the Role
To provide support in the management of BSC capital products and works in line with local sales strategies and customer requirements. To be able to react to logistical and operational needs to aid in loan and servicing kit for capital products.

Responds to internal and external customer contact regarding product availability, delivery status and ad hoc queries; strives to maintain customer goodwill by providing responsive customer service.

In addition, support the FIM team leader to maintain goals and objectives of the department.

This full time permanent position is based from our Hemel office and operates Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:45pm.

The role support our logisitics and supply chain teams, and is split approximately 80% administrative tasks and 20% manual handling activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accept incoming deliveries into the BSC capital warehouse and process items for dispatch including lifting and handling large items.
  • Process requests for transfer and delivery of BSC capital to aid customer and sales requirements.
  • Process movements of items within ERCP system.
  • Undertake monthly reviews of stock and movements.
  • Adhere to quality requirements.
  • Monitor the complete delivery processes (e.g. Distribution centre and/or carrier).
  • Arrange special deliveries on request including cross EU shipments.
  • Adhere to local document and record related administration policies.
  • Handle service complaints from internal and external customers within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
  • Respond to internal and external customer queries, proactively problem solving when required within agreed SLA’s.
  • Measures and tracks queries to be followed up and closed off.
  • Builds strong internal and external customer relationships and encourages open discussions which contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Fully understands the operational requirements of the customer in terms of delivery, procurement, and stock.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge that is adequate to respond to everyday needs of product information.
  • Fully knowledgeable in the company’s policies procedures and practices.
  • Demonstrates strong preparation skills in dealing with customer accounts.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls to the warehouse and taking ownership of call abandonment rates.
  • Ensure awareness and compliance of the Standard operating procedure (SOP’s) and Work instructions (WI); Ensure that product complaints are reported within the allowed timeframes by detecting quality related issues and acting upon them; Contribute to the timely closure of Field Corrective Actions.
  • Support and be proactive in the process of new business transitions acquisitions and divestitures.
