Join us as a Senior Community Housing Worker (Internally known as Senior Support Worker) within our dynamic Gloucestershire Community-Based Services Team, focusing on clients primarily in Tewkesbury. If you’re a seasoned Support Worker, particularly with housing benefit expertise, we want to connect with you. Embrace this outstanding opportunity on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Our service primarily operates from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility tailored to your needs. As your role may involve driving, access to personal transportation is required.

Position: Senior Community Housing Worker (Job ID 809)

Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week or Part-time

Contract: Permanent

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, with flexibility to work from Gloucester and home.

Pay: £23,850 per year

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.

^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You’ll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
