.Harrington Starr is excited to announce our collaboration with a leading global corporation (a Legal Firm) with a substantial annual turnover, as they are actively seeking a Security Incident Response Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert incident response to safeguard against information security threats.
  • Contribute digital forensics expertise, staying ahead of current and emerging threats.
  • Approach incidents as both an attacker and defender, ensuring thorough resolution.

Skills and Experience:

  • Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or SANS GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, GCTI, GREM, GCIH.
  • Extensive enterprise-level security incident response experience.
  • Strong Windows systems forensics and diagnostics expertise.
  • Audit, assess, and evaluate emerging vulnerabilities in the cyber threat landscape.
  • Leadership in CSIRT throughout the incident lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP protocols, wireshark, and packet analysis tools.
  • Knowledgeable in application security controls and penetration testing.
  • Confident in scripting (Python or similar).
  • Experience in risk analysis and executive-level reporting.
  • Design and implementation of incident response policies.
  • Extensive experience with SIEM, log analytics, and SOAR for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud security technologies, standards, and controls.
