Job description: We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join a plastic manufacturing company based in Pontypridd.
Warehouse Operative duties:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space – perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods
- Operate warehouse management system (WMS) to track and manage inventory
- Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation.
- Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

Experience Level:
- Entry-Level (no prior experience required)
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
Language Requirement:
- Proficiency in English
- Mandarin or Cantonese (preferred)
Basic Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
Expected salary: £42 – 10.42 per hour
