The role of Warehouse and Yard Associate is to ensure a safe and reliable operational environment. In this role, the Warehouse and Yard Associate will execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse activities. These processes include receiving, storage, physical inventory verification, accuracy and the delivery of inventory to internal and external customers.
As a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you will be responsible for:
Working in the warehouse and yard, operating a forklift.
Performing accurate data entry into the system.
Keeping warehouse and yard clean and organised to ensure it is a safe working environment.
Actively participating in health and safety programs and exercise STOP WORK at any time for safety.
Reviewing risk assessments and work permits.
Liaising with internal customers to ensure on time delivery and shipments.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Demonstrate experience in warehouse and/or yard activities.
Hold a forklift licence.
Hold a full UK drivers licence.
Demonstrate good communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to use a computer, using Microsoft packages.
