RMS Are recruiting for a Compound Team Leader to Join our Automotive Team in Baddesley. The role will involve handling new high specification Luxury vehicles within our clients’ compound.

About the Role?

Reporting to the Compound Manager and Shift Supervisor, the main fundamentals of the role involve ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the three sites on a day-to-day basis by providing leadership, guidance, training and support to workers.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Be the initial first line of support for your team members
• To be the point of contact in the absence of the Supervisor and Manager
• To direct, support and motivate the team to enhance performance
• To support the Supervisor and Manager in assessing workflows and the utilisation of staff to maximise efficiencies
• To ensure all vehicles are located correctly and to ensure all movements are carried out in line with company procedures.
• Support other operational requirements defined by the Shift Supervisor.

Pattern of work: 2-Shift Rotation between the hours of 6am-7pm. Working shifts can vary so a degree of flexibility is required to be successful.

About you?

• Essential: All candidates must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points or DR10 offences.
• Previous Team Leader Experience
• Good understanding and working experience within Automotive/Logistics/ Distribution operations.
• Experience with computer systems and data recording.
