As Human Resources Generalist with ProResp you will report to the Director, Human Resources supporting our employees across multiple locations throughout Ontario in the execution of HR strategic initiatives. This role is suitable for an experienced Generalist (preferred greater than 3 years) looking to challenge their skills and progress their advanced practice in a fast paced, growing company. Your pursuit of HR excellence, employee relations, organizational skills, and attention to detail will assist to identify and implement HR process improvements as you take a leadership role with program development.

Role Responsibilities:
Represent HR as a confidential resource providing policy and procedure development and guidance to employees and management.
- Subject matter expert of standard human resource practices relating to Human Rights, AODA, and ESA; some knowledge of Privacy legislation preferred
- Assist with compensation analysis, maintenance of systems and compliance
- Develop, maintain, and update company policies and procedures for implementation
- Participate in leading and mentoring performance management and feedback process
- Manage employee onboarding program and monitor process adherence and effectiveness, lead training & development initiatives
- Monitor employee morale and company culture; design and implement retention initiatives, conduct and prepare analysis and gap plan from pulse surveys, exit interviews, and focus groups
- Prepare internal communications and other formal documentation in collaboration with leadership
- Key HR contact for operations
- Undertake other tasks and projects relating to the HR practices that promote system efficiency and value
Preferred Skills and abilities:
- 3+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist with direct involvement in a diverse scope of HR practices preferred
- Undergraduate degree and post-secondary education in Human Resources Management
- Registered with a CHRP designation required; CHRL designation considered an asset
- Experience working with a team of diverse disciplines in a multi-location environment to complete goals
- Solid Microsoft and HRIS skills
- Excellent multi-tasking capabilities; proven ability to handle a busy office environment with competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Valid G license; willingness to travel within Ontario on occasional basis, as required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch. Some flexibility in hours may be required to meet business needs; including additional hours from time-to-time.
