Job description: We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper with a keen eye for detail to join our Accounting & Finance team.

The key responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes.
  • Month end reconciliations of the general ledger.
  • Prepare financial statements for internal and external use.
  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors.
  • Implement and adhere to company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
  • Prepare VAT returns in compliance with laws and regulations.

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

  • Previous experience in a Bookkeeping position.
  • Thorough understanding of bookkeeping processes and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation.
