Main Responsibilities:
As Group Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing various financial aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
Group Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial reports for the group, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Consolidations: Lead the consolidation process for the group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Systems Management: Oversee financial systems, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and integration with other business functions.
Revenue Recognition: Develop and implement robust revenue recognition policies in compliance with accounting standards.
Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
Treasury Management: Manage group cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to optimise financial performance.
Transfer Pricing: Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance and alignment with business strategies.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify financial challenges, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Proficient in consolidations, revenue recognition, group reporting, corporate governance, treasury management, and transfer pricing.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to think on their feet and solve complex financial problems.
- Self-starter with a proactive and driven approach to work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept with financial systems, preferably with expertise in SAP.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
