Job description: The Accounts Assistant will be integral to the success of the Accounting & Finance Department, with a focus on maintaining financial records, running calculations to ensure that records and payments are correct, and assisting with budget preparations. This role is based in Tamworth.
The Accounts Assistant will;
- Supporting the finance department, accountants, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks.
- Preparing budgets, maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.
- Completing and maintaining purchase orders.
- Making deposits and recording all cash receipts.
- Distributing monthly departmental financials and management reports.
- Helping with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting with other accounting projects in the office as needed.
Immediate start|Tamworth
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
- Understanding of bookkeeping procedures, time management, and attention to detail.
