Pertemps Exeter are working with a leading Distribution Company who are looking for Afternoon Parcel Sorters to work out of their Cullompton depot in Devon.
You will play a vital role in supporting the business to help deliver world-class service and time-critical parcels to their customers.
Shift Pattern:
Monday – Friday
1:30pm – 10pm
£11.44ph from 1:30pm – 6pm
£12.40ph from 6pm-10pm
About the job role:
Loading and unloading parcels.
Loading trailers and cages for delivery.
Sorting parcels / organising into correct departments.
Scanning parcels so they can be tracked.
Candidates will be required to handle parcels weighing up to 25kg.
Any other Warehouse duties required.
The ideal candidate would benefit from being able to communicate in written and spoken English to understand instructions and fulfil orders.
This role is working in a busy environment and involve you being on your feet most of the shift. Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as bending and lifting in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
