Your Purpose:

As a key member of the Defence Acquisition and Support leadership team, you will be responsible to lead the “land” business area. You will be visible and active leader, spending most of your time with clients and our client-facing teams to identify opportunities and create client focused, value generating solutions. You will be able to engage clients and competitors, strategic partners and supply chains, and will bring significant collaborative and leadership capability alongside your drive, optimism and innate motivation.

Responsibilities include:

Success at AtkinsRéalis is delivered through creating collaborative teams that work to deliver compelling bids and outstanding solutions for our clients. As the Client Director you will be responsible for the business performance of your portfolio, including meeting the expectations for growth. You will need to be able to foster collaboration across our matrix organisation, adopting an inclusive and collaborative approach.Your specific responsibilities will include-

  • Developing a deep understanding of your clients’ needs their business drivers, developing solutions and improvements to meet those needs.
  • Maturing and executing a client focused account strategy that supports the achievement of the broader defence strategy.
  • Communicating to staff and other key stakeholders on our Account Strategy, including as appropriate, our clients’ needs, challenges and opportunities, and our strategies, growth initiatives, pipeline, major opportunities and key client engagements.
  • Horizon scanning to understand current and future trends.
  • Prioritising personal and team activity.
  • Demonstrate and exemplify AtkinsRéalis culture and behaviours.

Desirable Experience:

  • Track record in winning, managing or developing large projects.
  • DE&S or Defence Land domain experience.
  • Business Development experience.
