Shifts are held over Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch). No weekend working. Permanent position.
This role will be based at the company’s Magherafelt / Castledawson office.
Salary
£30,000 – £40,000 + other Fantastic Additional Benefits (Top Company) & Progression Opportunities
Responsibilities
Pre-Contract:
- Assist Estimating with supplier quotes for bids.
- Negotiate and procure materials for cost, quality, and delivery goals.
- Issue subcontractor contracts and orders
Post Contract:
- Create procurement schedules aligned with Project Teams.
- Ensure materials procurement meets project targets.
- Appoint Subcontractors and negotiate terms.
- Manage supplier lead times for operational efficiency.
- Drive strategic purchasing opportunities.
- Forecast materials usage and budgets.
- Maintain product library.
Supply Chain Management:
- Assist with onboarding supply chain partners.
- Manage supplier price updates and preferred lists.
- Monitor supplier value, rebates, and terms.
- Maintain Supplier and Subcontractor KPI Database.
The Ideal Person
- Must have experience in a similar role
- Experience in the Construction industry is desirable
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong communication with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and Excellent time management skills
