Description
An international consultancy firm who are growing both organically and through acquisition that is looking for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Financial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). Reporting to the Financial Controller the Financial Accountant will act as a business partner to various stakeholders across the business. Duties include:
- Leading the annual tax and audit process
- Oversee bi-annual intercompany reconciliations and prepare group financial statements
- Support Project Directors with short/medium/long-term budgeting process
- Calculate and reconcile quarterly VAT returns
- Project accounting including forecasting, budgeting, WIP adjustments, and project reporting
- Set up and chair monthly commercial review board meetings
It is envisaged this role would suit an ambitious ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Financial Accountant with experience in the professional services sector and a good understanding of project/costing accounting and a good knowledge of CIS. The Financial Accountant will also be expected to possess good analytical and finance systems skills, be comfortable engaging and advise with Direct or level stakeholders, and have excellent attention to detail.
