A day in the life of…
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you play a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience at the Artisan Restaurant, Vista Bar Cafe and function facilities. Your responsibilities include welcoming guests, collaborating with team members for smooth shifts, and maximising food and beverage revenues. We anticipate the commencement of this role in April 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a friendly smile and exceptional service.
- Collaborate closely with team members for efficient shifts.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Artisan Restaurant, Vista Bar Cafe and function facilities.
- Provide a positive guest experience and maximise food and beverage revenues.
- Work on a casual basis, offering evening and weekend support.
- Follow a rota schedule, including a minimum of 2/3 days out of 7 per week.
- Offer flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage with guests and colleagues positively on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Passion for providing an exceptional guest experience.
- Commitment to living through brand standards.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanour.
- Proactive approach, initiating interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence, self-motivation, and a willingness to try new things.
- No specific hospitality experience required, but a confident and positive attitude is essential.
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £10.77 per hour, increasing to £11.07 per hour after the eight-week training period.
- 30 days holiday pro-rata.

This role is being offered on a 24hr (Average) per week, annualised hours contract.
Annualised Hours is an alternative way of expressing a working contract in hours per year, rather than the conventional hours per week. It enables staff to receive a standard monthly salary based on average hours, no matter how many hours they work in any month. Team members can be rostered for additional hours during busy times and fewer hours during quieter periods.
