Egis, a leading global consulting, engineering and operations organisation, with UK office locations in Farnborough, London, Bristol and other locations serve a broad range of clients internationally. We work for airports, air navigation service providers, industry and governments improving the efficiency and safety of operations and conducting policy and strategy analysis. We have opportunities within our other regions including Europe and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with the role being based in either the UK, France or the APAC region.
Job description
To meet the growing demand for our services, we are looking for individuals with a range of expertise, experience and a keen interest in the aviation sector. In addition you’ll:
- Already have experience in a safety management / safety assessment role with clear demonstrable evidence of having applied safety techniques to maintain and improve performance within a complex, safety critical environment.
- Ideally have experience in aviation but we will also welcome applicants from other sectors who can bring their safety and broader risk management expertise to an operational, dynamic and varied industry undergoing significant change.
- Be familiar with different safety including hazard identification, risk assessment techniques, requirements management and safety argument production techniques (such as GSN).
- Be keen to work on wider consultancy projects and other activities in addition to the technical work.
- Have the ability to use your expertise to take projects through the entire lifecycles uncovering the initial opportunity all the way through bid preparation and delivery to ensure our customers’ expectations are met and exceeded.
Profile
With an established career within safety Management or Safety Assessment you’ll also have worked in/ have a good understanding of Management Consulting with a commercially biased acumen. In additional you’ll have:
- A Degree qualified in a numerate subject, preferably within an engineering, science or aviation related subject.
- Extensive experience in working in a safety-critical environments
- Experience working in a management consultancy environment ideally.
- Proactive with a drive to see projects through to a conclusion.
- Thrive on problem solving with the application of your excellent critical thinking skills.
- Written and presentation skills to a high standard.
- Enjoy the prospect of client engagement, whether in workshops, training sessions, one-to-one meetings or simply networking over coffee.
