Job description: Role Overview:

Role- Senior Business Analyst

Location- London or Brighton

Type- Permanent

Nature- Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)

Overall role –

  • Exposure to the full life cycle of IT and business-led projects with a focus on Business/Process Analysis activities.
  • Provide project management within the IT department to support delivery of IT led projects.
  • Have an awareness of the Treating Customers Fairly (“TCF”) and Conduct Risk strategies.
  • Have an awareness of Data Protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulations

Key Responsibilities-

To support the Senior Manager – IT Development in the delivery of project assignment(s) with a focus on the following tasks:

  • Assist in the shaping of strategic initiatives
  • Map current and future state business processes identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and document business requirement
  • Work with systems developers to design and develop solutions
  • Exposure to systems development tools where appropriate
  • Design, plan and manage user acceptance testing of solutions
  • Assist in the implementation of business process change
  • To support the IT Department in the delivery of IT led projects with a focus on the following tasks:
  • Project planning and initiation
  • Risk and Issue management
  • Stakeholder identification and management
  • Progress reporting and metrics
  • Project delivery
  • Have an awareness of the Treating Customers Fairly (“TCF”) strategy.
  • Have an awareness of Data Protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulations

Competence – Desirable Experience –

  • Around 5-10 years as a Senior Business Analyst
  • Educated to Degree level
  • IT Background
  • Insurance industry exposure (advantageous)
  • ISEB Qualified
