Our client is currently seeking a capable Accounting Technician for a contract role based at their facility in Dunfermline for an ongoing contract period commencing 8th January. They offer a flexible, collabrative and team focused culture as well as hybrid working pattern.

The principal purpose of this post is to assist with the provision of accounting and financial information to the Trust, which will range over a number of activities that the organisation provides.

Qualified ideally to HNC level in Accountancy or equivalent.

Duties include:

Assisting in the preparation of financial information for the annual capital and revenue budgets

Assisting in the preparation of regular revenue and capital monitoring reports for Fife Sports & Leisure Trust

Assisting in the production of draft accounts for inclusion in FSLT

Assisting with the reconciliation of financial ledgers, taking corrective action as required or as requested by line managers.

Assisting in the day-to-day management and control of the financial ledger system, ensuring that income and expenditure are accounted for correctly and that code structures are reviewed on a regular basis.

Ensuring compliance with the financial regulations of FSLT in any activities they are involved in.
