Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, which is based in the Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management Department of Nottingham University Business School. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to teaching on the range of programmes offered by the School at undergraduate and postgraduate level and support professional development and executive education courses. They will also be required to make a significant contribution to leadership within the Department.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area. Research interests and ability to publish in internationally excellent, peer reviewed journals in Healthcare Management is required, along with a proven record of attracting research funding, and leading research projects. In particular, alignment with one or more of the strategic research priorities of the Department’s Centre for Health Innovation, Leadership and Learning is also necessary. Please see
Candidates should have the ability to advance their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues, and the ability to work well in a team. They should have successfully supervised PhD students to completion. Candidates should have excellent communication and presentation skills and significant teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects within Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management.
