Job description: CLEANERS / CLEANING OPERATIVES WANTED – Battersea Power Station
Shifts = Sat & Sun 8am – 5pm (16 hrs pw) OR 1pm – 10pm (16 hrs pw) OR 7am – 4pm (16 hrs pw)
Pay = £13.15ph – £14.47ph
Come and work for JPC, we are responsible for keeping Battersea Power Station and the estate clean and tidy to an excellent standard.
Your role is to deliver a world-class cleaning and support service in line with the JPC values.
Cleaning Operative duties include:
· Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets.
· Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels).
· Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary.
· Taking out the garbage.
· Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as unclogging sinks.
· Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning.
· Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.
To be a successful Cleaner will need the following skills:
· Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills.
· In-depth knowledge of cleaning solution and their uses.
· Working knowledge of health and safety standards.
· Ability to work well under pressure.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
