Job Description

We are looking to recruit a new member of staff to our Foundation Learning department. The person needs to have a good working knowledge of SEND and EHCPs, with regard to teaching, learning and supporting strategies.

The appointed will be required to prepare, teach and assess to groups of 16-19 and 24+ EHCP learners.

We are looking for a flexible team member who can work within a range of RARPA bespoke programmes and work within the team to develop a fluid and exciting curriculum offer.

You will be expected to deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment across allocated courses, programmes and subjects and be a part of a successful team of staff to contribute to the college’s expectations of quality.

What skills are we looking for:

• Creative and experienced teacher

• Enthusiastic

• Friendly

• Ability to work flexibly and be adaptable to changing environments. • Good working knowledge of Math and English

• Awareness of SEND strategies.

• Team player Responsibilities for the role:

• Deliver high quality lessons, including maths and English to a range of learners with ALN/ SEND

• Source and support work placements-internal and external

• Be a part of a team that develops an innovative and evolving curriculum.
