Job title: Head of Marketing

Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head of Marketing to join Avery Healthcare’s Group Reporting team, working within the senior Avery team to design, fulfil and implement multi-channel marketing plans through the company’s marketing team and third-party agencies, supporting Avery Operations with a focus on sustained high occupancy for both the care homes and independent living communities. To be both a strategist as well as hands-on with team objectives to ensure the effective delivery of individual campaigns through to the overall plan.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the Marketing team and agencies to meet business needs in off-line and online activities, marketing campaign calendar and home’s promotional events
  • Ensuring tasks and projects are prioritised effectively and delivered on time and on budget
  • Oversee all BAU collateral and merchandise from design to print and production
  • Overall management of the website, CMS and social media channels
  • Responsible for overall campaign design, including home refurbishment and new build launch plans
  • Contribute original creative ideas towards the company’s overall marketing strategy
  • Oversee brand management and guidelines
  • Ensuring a strong, consistent message across all channels through the voice of the brand(s) that also reflects our values
  • Applicable to both the Avery care homes, Hawthorns independent retirement living communities
  • Identify new ways to build awareness and reach the target B2C audience(s) and respond to market changes
  • Use mystery shopping, profiling, feedback and analytics to understand the customer journey and experience
  • Understand the competitor landscape to maintain comparative and competitive advantage
  • Evaluate marketing and occupancy reports and provide recommendations based on the data
  • Regularly review and propose improvements to processes and procedures within Marketing
  • Ensure that all communications are CMA, GDPR and brand-compliant
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives and represent and drive marketing objectives into the broader business strategies
  • Support and advise on the marketing plans and opportunities as agreed with Ops
  • Ensure the approval process for marketing invoices is accurate and timely, managing annual budgets
  • Support all Directors
