We have an excellent opportunity for a Food & Beverage Manager in Clayton Hotel Cardiff. We are seeking a leader with excellent experience in Food and Beverage management in a leading hotel.

Clayton Hotel Cardiff is a 4 star hotel located in the heart of Cardiff city at the bottom of St.Mary’s Street. Location is everything at Clayton Hotel Cardiff, with the train and bus stations only a stone’s throw away and the city’s famous Principality Stadium only a short walk. Clayton Hotel is Cardiff’s largest hotel boasting 216 bedrooms, 7 modern meeting and conference rooms all with natural daylight and À la carte restaurant and bar, all with beautiful panoramic views of the capital city. Objective of the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager will lead the operational & financial success of the Food & Beverage function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the F&B department and execute the strategy to achieve goals.
  • People leadership, including recruiting, retaining and developing employees.
  • Support the General Manager in the strategic running of the hotel.
  • Set targets for the F&B teams in line with the overall departmental and hotel strategy.
  • Support/Oversee events in the hotel to ensure excellence in service at all times.
  • Manage the budget and cost effectiveness of the department.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Food & Beverage management role in a leading hotel.
  • Experience in large conferences and events is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent Leadership skills.
  • Experience in recruiting and developing employees.
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • An excellent focus on our customers.
