Saturday to Sunday 2pm to 11pm
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced External Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Battersea Power Station Estate. As an External Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the external cleanliness and appearance of the Estate’s buildings and surrounding areas. This role is a crucial part of our mission to ensure that the Battersea Power Station Estate remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all who visit.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of the external areas of the Estate, including walkways, entrances, and any other designated areas
– Perform high-pressure cleaning of building exteriors, including windows, facades, and roofs
– Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including car parks, courtyards, and gardens
– Use appropriate cleaning products, equipment, and techniques to achieve the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene
– Report any damage or maintenance issues to the appropriate department for resolution
– Maintain a professional and positive attitude while interacting with residents, visitors, and colleagues
Requirements:
– Previous experience in external cleaning, preferably in a facilities management or commercial property setting
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
– Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
– Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
