Role Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Cleaning Services Improvement & Development Coordinator based in Galashiels. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a service improvement culture within Cleaning Services.
Your responsibilities will include supporting and delivering a range of service-specific employee development initiatives to enhance knowledge and awareness of procedural and legislative requirements. Additionally, you will be instrumental in improving cleaning methods, overseeing the management of systems and procedures, and contributing to the overall enhancement of the Cleaning Service.
Essential Requirements:
- Manual Handling and Health and Safety Risk Assessments (COSSHH)
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing, delivering service-specific information to various groups using IT
- Leadership skills to direct employees towards high-performance levels
- Extensive knowledge of management and best practices in Cleaning and Facilities Services
- Capacity to complete tasks on time within the program and budget constraints
- Ability to disseminate and analyse management information and make recommendations based on prioritisation of actions
Desirable Skills:
- BICSc certification
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and working with spreadsheets
- Experience in vocational training initiatives
- Ability to manage a budget
