Job description: Healthcare Assistant required for this private dermatology clinic in the Cheadle area of Manchester.Our client is a leading healthcare facility specialising in dermatology and aesthetic services. They are committed to providing exceptional quality care to their patients, and they are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dermatology Healthcare Assistant to join their team. If you are passionate about skincare, patient care, and want to contribute to the well-being of their patients, we would like to hear from you.As a Dermatology Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting dermatologists and other medical professionals in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with various skin conditions. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting dermatologists in performing clinical procedures and minor surgical interventions.
- Taking medical histories, documenting patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
- Educating patients on proper skincare routines, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
- Providing support to patients during procedures and addressing their concerns.
- Coordinating appointments, managing patient schedules, and handling administrative tasks.
- Ensuring a clean and well-organized clinical environment.
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a HCA role with exposure to dermatology or surgery and will have excellent communication skills. You must have the right to work within the UK. A warm, compassionate and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact and understanding is essential.This is very much a hands-on role and will suit someone who is looking to progress their clinical skills.Starting salary £23k DOE rising to £26.5k after training + benefitsThis role offers great benefits including 50% off treatments, and a pension scheme. Opportunities to progress into aesthetics or dermatology available!Full time hours across Mon to Sat with two evening finishes.Parking on site.
Expected salary: £23500 – 26500 per year
