And we’re doing it for the good of motorists across the UK.Here at Direct Line Group Auto Services, we genuinely care about what we do and aim to provide a phenomenal level of service for our customers.We know that our customer’s vehicles make getting from A to B that much easier, whether it’s to do the weekly shop, the school run or to get things delivered, it’s all important.What you’ll be doingThe role is to support the implementation and continuous use of all of the latest diagnostic and calibration equipment across DLGAS, this role will ensure correct use of equipment, support Technicians training and development needs and focus on safe repair and cost saving across all sites.This is a permanent onsite role.35 hours a weekSupport continuous improvement and transformation to deliver a best in class motor repair service to DLG customers, providing complete technical expertise across the business to support the delivery of site performance, financial, operational and customer targets. Working within a high performing, engaged and fully accountable team to support the delivery of all targets. All roles are at the heart of our Auto Services business, and you’ll need be enthusiastic, upbeat and committed to delivering the best repair service.What you’ll need:Partner with all key stakeholders to identify site improvements through sharing recognised best practice and supporting standardisation.To support other technical subject matter experts with key data and information.Develop and coordinate with key stakeholders to identify and deliver insight which can be used to aid continuous improvement.Actively work as part of the transformation team to understand business opportunities and analyse issues to support improved site performance in all areas.Onboarding new initiatives by displaying success outcomesEffective collaboration with technical team members and the wider business to improve effectiveness and profitability.Identify and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role, in line with the company risk framework.General and specific vehicle repair industry knowledge and experience.· Excellent knowledge of Computerised Body Shop Management Systems· Excellent knowledge of Audatex or equivalent industry estimating platforms· Strong knowledge of BS10125 and DLGAS internal repair compliance· Electric Vehicle IMI level 4 qualified.· IMI AOM230 ADAS calibration qualifiedWho you’ll be working withReporting to the Technical Team Manager in the Transformation team in MNES directorate and work closely with Regional and Site Managers as a Technical support expert to the business to support, design and deliver change initiatives and business benefits to achieve strategic goals.We know you’ve heard this all before, but the culture here at Direct Line Group really is something else.
