Job description: We are looking for a dynamic Marketing and BD Executive who will specialise their talents in our Transactional Services team in our London Office. This is a key role where you will be providing marketing and business development support; you will be proactive, a people’s person with strong event experience. The role will cover all elements of the marketing mix.This role would be ideally suited to a Marketing Assistant / Events co-ordinator, looking to take the next step in their career.Why Join Menzies?

Key Responsibilities:
- Event management – supporting the team in organising events undertaken by the various departments in Transaction Services, including the annual TS Conference;
- Leading on key external relationships, such as with the CICM and Insider Wales, to formulate annual activity, ensuring delivery – including webinars, podcasts, PR and roundtables;
- Leading on strategic initiatives, formulating agendas and delivering on actions;
- Running the content calendar for Transaction Services including responsibility for the development of key publications such as The Menzies Mirror, our Credit Magazine, podcasts, case studies, video testimonials and draft award submissions;
- Focus on increasing internal referrals – responsibility for the BR Ambassadors and Champions programme;
- Targeting campaigns, competitor analysis and client / target research;
- Utilising HubSpot for reporting purposes and campaign generation;
- Assisting senior leaders (Partners/Directors) with organising referrer / client team on teams / networking events.
The Person:
- 1-2 years’ experience in event management
- 5+ A-C GCSEs including English and Maths
- Strong interest in events & marketing
- Strong IT skills including MS Office
- Learning agility to adapt to new technologies
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise activities, using own initiative to organise workload.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Reliable and flexible
- Telephone and video conferencing skills
