Job description: JMC are working with a MRO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new Senior Line Station Manager to join their team.This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted with a flexible working pattern. This salary for this role is £75,000pa. + type rating approval pay.Salary and Benefits– Competitive Salary, approval pay and shift pay– Excellent career prospects– Company Pension– 25 days A/L + bank holidays + holiday buy back/ unpaid leave scheme– Healthcare plan– Death in service cover– Electric car and cycle to work schemesThe RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the day to day running of the Stansted Line Station, overseeing all AOG support requirements and leading a team of Line Engineers.Other duties involve:– Assess the daily requirements for line and AOG support and allocate resources to achieve the daily commitments.– Responsible for the line leadership of a team of Line/AOG licensed engineers.– Ensure the company delivers the very highest level of response on a consistent basis, to its demanding customer base.– Manage operational effectiveness, resource control, and maintenance planning.– Ensure the Part-CAMO is duly supported to fulfil the regulatory requirements and Work Orders are issued and Work Packs returned for permanent records within the regulatory/contracted time constraints.– Coordinate all AOG/unscheduled maintenance events, providing recommendations to the maintenance personnel, in order to utilise allocated downtime in a safe and efficient manner.– Ensure that crew members are provided with all the required support concerning maintenance related issues, to guarantee the safety and reliability of the aircraft.– Communicate the progress of inputs/projects daily by using any necessary acceptable means to the customer and the CAMO.– Ensure that all work undertaken as instructed remains within the capabilities of the company and subject aircrafts associated state of registry.– Responsible for aircraft spares inventory management, stock control, and quality procedures compliance as defined in the company .– Ensuring compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) in respect of actively advocating, promoting & implementing safety policy – Identification, assessment, and resolution of risks & hazards. Actively participate in company management & safety forums.– Responsible to manage the workload and redirect his available resources to the base maintenance activity whenever they may be needed.– Responsible to request additional resources to the base maintenance activity whenever necessary.– Practise as Licenced Engineer within the scope of company approvals and business needs.Skills and experience required:– Strong knowledge of business jet maintenance and engineering management processes– Relevant engineering degree and/or aircraft maintenance work experience.– To be responsible for the technical administration of client aircraft, as per the competent NAA regulation– Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment, and accepted industry standards– Valid CAA Part 66 Licence and Part 145 recognised course acceptable to the competent Authority– Typed on at least ONE of the following: EMB 145/135/Lineage 1000, Legacy 500, Phenom 100/200, Challenger 604/605 or Bombardier Global BD700
