Job description: Are you an experienced Workshop Operations Manager looking for a new opportunity?JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Manchester, looking to recruit a Workshop Operations Manager to join their expanding team.This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester with an immediate start date.The Workshop Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of workshops facility.The responsibilities of the Workshop Operations Manager will involve:– Managing successful completion of all repair, overhaul and manufacturing activities– Managing the resolution of complex issues and delivery of customer requirements– Ensuring all materials, resources and facilities required to deliver the work on time are available, at the right cost and to the required standard– Ensuring that all customer expectations are fully met– Ensuring full compliance with EASA/CAA regulatory requirements– Maintaining an awareness/adherence to HSE legislation and company procedures– Delivering agreed strategic imperatives in the context of the workshops facility, leading continuous improvement as well as the delivery of the financial plan to budget– Driving the financial performance of the workshop to maximise cost reduction and deliver productivity improvement– Providing overall leadership and direction in the setting, communicating and delivery of agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with respect to quality, production, manpower, health & safety and compliance– Leading and coaching the teams and other support staff, guiding them in their current positions as well as assisting with career development and trainingIn order to be successful in this role, the Workshop Operations Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:– Previous workshop/operations management experience– Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities– Must have good written and verbal communication skills– Hold the right to work in the UK – proof is required as part of our shortlisting processIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
