Job description: Despatch Operator – £11.24 per hour – Based in Newport, South Wales – 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Temporary ongoing position to start ASAP.We are recruiting a Despatch Operator for our global manufacturing client based in Newport, South Wales – this is a long term temporary position to start immediately.Despatch Operator£11.42ph7.30am to 3.30pmMonday to FridayNewport, South WalesImmediate startWorking as part of a small despatch team and reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role to the Despatch Operator will involve packing and labelling goods and kit to be despatched to customers. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a stores, warehouse or despatch environment.Duties will include:
- Picking parts and labelling
- Preparing goods to be despatched (both in UK and overseas)
- Using computers to produce lists and labels
- General Warehouse duties
Required skills and experience:
- Good IT skills – knowledge of SAP or MRP systems would be preferred
- Forklift / counterbalance licence (Preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience working in warehouse or stores environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
