Job description: Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Sales Development Lead to work in Oxford. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £14.63 (PAYE) or £18.66 (umbrella) per hour. The working hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.The role:We are looking for an organised Sales Development Lead to assist in the advertising and promoting of the Councils Multiply Maths programme.Multiply is a national programme funded by the DfE (free to the user) which aims to increase numeracy levels for adults for whom Maths is a barrier to employment progression.Multiply courses can be offered to adults aged 19 and over who do not have a Maths Level 2 qualification or equivalent (GCSE). The course aims to boost numeracy skills in both work and daily life.This post will require excellent communication skills to engage the general public across Oxfordshire to ‘have a go’ as they engage with Maths, possibly for the first time since their school days.The post will work alongside our Information & Media Administrator and our OCC Marketing team to generate appropriate digital and other advertising materials to use through social media and websites.The post will also require presence in Learning Hubs to engage the general public, and in town centres e.g. footfall in libraries and community venues.Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting the Multiply Maths programme highlighting it is ‘free’ to the user (it is a government funded scheme), whilst proactively seeking new training opportunities for the programme using telephone, email and social media platforms to connect with Oxfordshire businesses, community groups and the general public.
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and training opportunities.
  • Ensure a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads.
  • Have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills and gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Multiply programme.
  • Build open and honest relationships with prospective applicants.
  • Report to the Multiply Project Lead with weekly updates and progress.
  • Attend product training and develop an understanding of OCC’s communication channels.
  • Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with next steps to attend the courses.

Applicant Requirements:Qualifications:N/A.Experience: 2 + years sales experience.Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
