Job description: The Best Connection currently is seeking for an Administration & Finance Assistant.Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and expense processing.
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and orientation of new employees.
- Organize new starters and leavers, maintaining organization charts.
- Manage vehicle fleet in collaboration with the leasing company.
- Generate memos, emails, and reports as needed.
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and order items.
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information.
- Answer incoming calls and perform receptionist duties as needed.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Review and process reimbursements.
- Keep records of invoices and tax payments.
- Manage company liabilities, including insurance premiums.
- Identify and address account discrepancies.
- Stay current with regulations, requirements, and laws.
- Provide front desk customer service and maintain a tidy reception area.
- Take clear messages and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain an organized file system.
- Update daily bank reports and perform bank reconciliation.
- Manage and control creditors’ accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Assist with month-end reporting, including general ledger review and variance analysis.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial Excel functions.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
- Strong time-management and organization skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Fluent in Italian preferred.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Experience:
- Administrative: 5 year (preferred).
- Credit controller in Food industry: 1 year (required).
