Located in West-London, the ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience working on luxury residential or hospitality design projects, as well as exceptional and well-rounded design capabilities.Job description:
- Collaborating innovatively throughout the entire design process, spanning from initial concept creation to meticulous development and approval of supplier shop drawings.
- Crafting and delivering comprehensive conceptual design presentations to support the senior design team and creative director.
- Generating and refining design concepts, mood boards, preliminary sketches, and final presentations utilizing a diverse array of digital and traditional tools, with a particular focus on Adobe InDesign.
- Producing precise technical drawings and completing tender packages using AutoCAD.
- Creating intricate design solutions, including material and finish selection, to meet project requirements.
- Overseeing the comprehensive management of FF&E selection, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
- Cultivating and expanding client and supplier partnerships, leveraging existing relationships for mutual growth.
- Collaborating effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure seam seamless project execution.
- Pursuing and disseminating inspiration and references from diverse external sources to support creative design solutions.
Skills necessary:
- Exceptional Design Proficiency: Demonstrates outstanding design skills and the ability to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Keen Attention to Detail: Possesses a meticulous eye for detail and a strong grasp of the technical aspects of interior design, enhancing the quality of our projects.
- Effective Communication: Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the confidence to engage with clients. Prior client-facing experience is a plus.
- Collaborative Team Player: Thrives in a team environment and adeptly manages various tasks throughout the design process, from initial concept development to design management, procurement, and on-site installations.
- Project Management skills: Display exceptional project management abilities, enabling the simultaneous management of multiple tasks across diverse projects.
- Software: Possesses expertise in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and Sketchup.
- Self-motivated and Efficient: Demonstrates self-motivation, working quickly and efficiently while maintaining a well-organized approach to tasks.
- Additional advantageous skills: Experience with 3DS Max, V-ray, and Corona would be an advantage.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the role of an interior designer or interior architect, working on luxury high-end residential, marine, or hospitality schemes.
