It’s famous for its game-changing dim sum, mouth-watering Cantonese dishes, and a selection of British ales and Czech Pilsner. The Restaurant embodies the vibrant spirit of Soho, combining tradition with modernism, and is a place where culinary expertise and passion are paramount.Position: Wok ChefSalary: £38,000 – £40,000Key Responsibilities:
- Mastery in using a Turbo style wok to prepare traditional and modern Chinese dishes.
- Upholding culinary excellence, food quality, and hygiene standards.
- Contributing to menu development with innovative ideas.
- Ensuring efficient kitchen operations and team collaboration.
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Supervising junior staff
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with a wok.
- Extensive knowledge and passion for Chinese culinary traditions, ideally have worked in China at some point in your career
- For Skilled Worker visa eligibility: must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at least to level B1 on the CEFR scale. Applicants may need to pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) from an approved provider or meet other specific language requirements as outlined by the UK government
- A valid passport
