Job description: Business Services AHSAdministrative Officer30 hoursPermanentgrade 4VACANCY NO: RES/24/139Business Services have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Grade 4 Administrative Officer to join our team supporting our busy Social Care Teams.The post is 30 hours, the successful candidate will play an active part as a team member of our Social Care Direct, Adult and Health front of house service.WHAT IS INVOLVED?The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive, effective and confidential general administrative service to busy Adult Social Care Teams on a day to day basis. To act as a member of the administrative team, demonstrating a flexible approach, ensuring the needs of the relevant teams are met.Some of the duties will include:
- the maintenance of several electronic mailboxes, telephone and text messages in order to receive, respond, reply or re-direct queries ensuring accurate information is provided within timescales;
- responding to telephone messages answering those calls within their remit and passing other calls onto Customer Services Officers/Social Workers as appropriate;
- dealing with members of the public and other agencies who contact the contact centre by telephone, letter or other electronic methods in a positive, timely and professional manner;
- responding to enquiries/matters relevant to all branches of Adults and Health Services which includes, Adults’ Welfare Rights, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Substance Misuse and other multi-disciplined teams;
- maintaining accurate computer-based records using Azeus, AHS Case Management System. Timely and accurate uploading of documents to client/provider cases using correct naming conventions.
