To support their ambitious plans, they are looking for a super foodie, creative and hands on Development Manager who can continue to delight their loyal consumers as well as meet the business ambitions.Please note there will be occasional travel around the UK, and potentially abroad, therefore a full driving licence is required.The RoleWith the help of a small team you’ll be instrumental in delivering the current innovation roadmap and be responsible for the future direction of the food agenda.You will use your NPD expertise to identify and translate food trends into new product ranges, creating new taste sensations that bring a mix of inspired flavours and authenticity across all ranges. You’ll have full ownership of the NPD / EPD critical path and deliver market leading products that have clear commercial and category objectives.In addition, you’ll be the key contact with partners, suppliers and third parties, acting as the brand ambassador to ensure every aspect of the product offering matches brand values, down to the last crumb.The PersonWe are looking for a hands on and commercially savvy NPD professional with a proven track record of delivering NPD strategy from concept to launch across a wide range of food categories. You will have an exceptional understanding of food and consumer trends, be brimming with ideas and have the know how to translate this into standout products for the brand.This not a hybrid or a desk-bound role so you must be happy to roll your sleeves up and flourish in a creative position. You don’t need to be a culinary whizz, but you must be able to hold your own in an innovation’s kitchen.You must have experience of managing all aspects of developing and launching new products, be able to handle complex multiple projects as well as have a sound understanding of category management.Your communication and presentation skills will be second to none and of course you will need stand out organisational and influencing abilities.
